We believe you have the right to private firearms ownership for sporting purposes. We work closely with the police and government to achieve this objective.

We need to ensure that if you wish to shoot live quarry you can, but legally, safely and responsibly. This is achieved by working in partnership with Government to safeguard shooting seasons and with our members and other conservation organisations to manage and conserve the habitats over which they shoot, which in turn will encourage healthy quarry populations. We ensure shooting sports have a fair and balanced hearing in the media. Public opinion is important, and we need to ensure that all types of shooting are seen for what they are – safe, fun and well run! We have a great deal to offer!
