Scott Country International Ltd., is family run partnership and first opened its doors in early 2001. In the very early days, it offered a wide range of clothing and field sports accessories spread over three floors of a traditional high street shop in Castle Douglas. The move to eCommerce was a natural progression and the business moved fully online in 2009. Personal shopping is still available by appointment only.

The products portfolio has evolved over time to focus on night vision, thermal imaging technology and associated products.

With our depth of expertise, and range of products, Scott Country International is now the most recognised specialist retailer of these products in the UK.

Scott Country now resides in a bespoke new office complex on King Street in Castle Douglas, situated behind the original high street shop. We have a dedicated customer meeting room for demonstrating products, designed to enhance the customer experience, further underlining the high level of customer care offered at Scott Country.

Although the majority of our sales are web based, we appreciate that a thermal imager is a huge investment to make and we encourage customers to make an appointment to come and view our ranges or try out our demo units.

Should you wish to come and visit our offices, we would kindly ask you to contact us at least a day in advance in order to ensure that a member of our sales team is able to dedicate sufficient time for you to review a potential purchase or to carry out a product comparison test.

We offer a vast range of commercially available night vision and thermal imaging equipment for professional hunting / pest control purposes or for wildlife surveillance and research. Scott Country is also an official supplier to the M.O.D, law enforcement and emergency services. We also can supply training and product support on site with full ISO quality assurance. We also offer Blue Light discounts to law enforcement and emergency services.
