Background

The company was established in 2021 by one of the UK’s top aerospace engineers in partnership with an ex UK forces soldier with decades of experience as a military sniper, hunter and as a renowned international competition shooter. Combining countless years of experience from both founders, they created a company that will be second to none in the future. The combination of arguably one of Britain’s best engineers with a deep understanding of the shooting industry and ballistics, underlines the motto of the company: “Unparalleled Performance”

Products

The products offered are premium lathe turned projectiles utilising the best equipment that is available on the market delivering unsurpassed quality control and match grade consistency from lot to lot. In other words, if you invest in this product it will be the same every time you purchase it and built to the tightest tolerances – no need for endless sorting and measuring of projectiles to ensure consistency

All calibres are tailored to the prevalent twist rates and matched to the specific setup in order to achieve correct stability factor number in order to guarantee stability and accuracy at any given muzzle velocity.

Virtus Precision Ltd are predominately creating lathe turned. However, special orders may be considered for future manufacturing of ammunition with the aim to create ammunition at a later date as standard.

Hunting Projectiles in the following projectile diameters:

– 6mm, .25Cal, 6.5mm, .270 and 30Cal.

Some calibres have up to three types of projectiles with different characteristics. Some calibres will have more than one weight per calibre of projectile being offered and expert recommendations will be offered for specific twist rates. Larger calibres to cover both dangerous hard skinned and soft skinned animals can be created on special demand.

Target Projectiles

This includes various sport disciplines such as Precision Rifle Series, F – Class, target rifle shooting and King-of-2 Mile competitions.

This product can also be individually tailored to a specific customer in order to exactly suit a specific twist rate of that weapon.

Larger calibres work better for copper monolithic lathe turned projectiles however stunning results have been seen in the hunting line projectiles like the .243 Winchester.

Specialist Ammunition Natures for Military and Police (Coming soon)

Various natures can be tailored to the customer’s exacting requirements for the weapons being used. This includes all military calibres. Expert advice can be given through Virtus Precision Ltd. through first-hand experience.

Tailored load development for estates, culling syndicates and Forestry Commission(UK).

Virtus Precision LTD can support any organisation in load development of group of specific firearms being used. The loads will be tested for safety by the Birmingham Proof House and safe, accurate commercial loads can be professionally loaded to the exact specifications to supply an organisation with the best possible ammunition.

Ballistic Classes for Long Range Shooting (Coming soon)

Three-day ballistic classes can be given to individuals with more complex classes available for military and police specialist requirements. This will include practical shooting at range on steel targets from different positions.
