The British Shooting Show proves to be global location.
The British Shooting Show has always been the UK’s largest trade and retail shooting show, already covering and attracting visitors from the length and breadth of the United Kingdom. But it doesn’t stop there…
It comes without surprise that over the years of tremendous growth, the British Shooting Show has also created quite a stir overseas.
Since our huge leap to the UK’s best connected Venue, the NEC, Birmingham (more on that later!) in 2018, our event has gained unprecedented momentum thus attracting manufacturers, distributors, business people, press and of course, the visiting public from all across the globe, some travelling from as far as Australia and New Zealand simply to attend the Great British Shooting Show.
It’s safe to say that the British Shooting Show is in the ideal position to serve everyone on a global scale.
What makes the British Shooting Show the prestigious global event it is today?
Our values
The British Shooting Show was built on the foundation of serving the shooting industry and giving visitors the never before seen one-to-one opportunity to meet with the manufacturers, distributors and retailers for their sport. After 17 years of putting the show on every February, this is still very much the case. But on a much, much larger global scale.
Today, the British Shooting Show is the UK’s largest and longest standing shooting show. We are a privately owned, financially stable and debt-free company with no ties to investors or shareholders. The show you see today, including the team who run it, is the same show you first saw in 2009.
The Venue
The central location within the UK’s travel network played a major part in the event’s move to the NEC, Birmingham. Not only is the venue integrated within the UK’s motorway network, but it is also directly connected to both national and international travel;
• Birmingham International Airport is right on our doorstep and using the free and fast air-rail link – you’ll be at the exhibition halls in just 90 seconds!
• Birmingham International Train Station stops at the NEC, so wherever you’re coming from, you can get directly to the NEC quickly and easily.
What makes these links even better is that you don’t even need to brave the elements!
